Qanun
Sara Majidinejad is a qanun performer, composer and music educator with a background in Iranian classical music. Her work brings together instrumental performance, musical education and intercultural artistic collaboration.
She studied qanun and Iranian music performance in Tehran and has continued her musical development through advanced studies at the Sibelius Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki. Her experience includes performances in festivals, concert settings and collaborative musical projects.
Alongside her work as a performer, Sara has experience in music education and is interested in creative approaches to teaching and collaboration. Her artistic practice explores new musical ideas while remaining connected to Persian musical traditions. As a member of Hawraman Music Group, she performs the qanun.
