Sara Fotros is an award-winning Daf player, percussionist and educator based in London. Her work spans performance, recording and community teaching.
She began teaching Daf in Isfahan in 2000 and has taught in London since 2011. In 2008, she won first place in the solo Daf competition at the Nava-ye Rahmat Festival in Sanandaj.
Her performance and recording work includes Ajam and String of Pearls, alongside appearances at international festivals. In 2023, she co-founded the Zagros Daf Ensemble with Zanyar Hesami.
